Recently, XPeng Motors held consecutive launch events in Dublin and Helsinki, marking the debut of its ultra-intelligent luxury electric SUV, the XPeng G9, in Finland. Meanwhile, the XPeng G6, another high-tech coupe SUV from the brand, was simultaneously unveiled in both Finland and Ireland.
From January 10 to 19, XPeng Motors unveiled its G6, G9, and P7+ models at the Brussels Auto Show, officially entering the Belgian and Luxembourg markets. The XPeng G9 will serve as the flagship model and the brand’s primary offering in these four markets. XPeng also stated that it plans to fully deploy its XNGP intelligent driving system in line with local regulatory requirements.
Since debuting in Norway in 2021, XPeng has expanded into more than 10 European countries, including Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg. On December 20, 2024, the company celebrated delivering its 10,000th car in Europe, becoming the first Chinese electric vehicle maker to reach this milestone.
XPeng also announced plans to expand into over 60 global markets, aiming for international markets to account for 50% of total sales within the next decade. Europe will be a core region for XPeng’s future commercialization strategy.
