Chery files patent for integrated light show control technology

Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. has recently published a new patent titled “An integrated light show control method, device, equipment, and medium.” The patent pertains to the field of vehicle light show control systems.

According to the abstract, the vehicle’s body control module (BCM) activates the light show feature upon receiving a signal and verifying that activation conditions are met. When the light show is enabled and the BCM receives a CAN signal from the remote receiver module (RRM) indicating a mode switch, the BCM sends pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals with varying duty cycles to the light show module to trigger the corresponding light show mode.

The system uses multiple light sources and intelligent control technologies to produce dynamic visual effects. When the vehicle is powered on, signal interactions occur through the vehicle’s CAN network between the controller and connected components, enabling the integrated light show functionality.
