On March 2, BYD and DJI jointly unveiled the “Lingyuan” Smart Car-Integrated Drone System in Shenzhen, accelerating their push for automotive intelligence. This innovative system achieves full vehicle integration and will be available across BYD’s entire brand lineup, marking a major step in drone technology adoption.
“Lingyuan” is available in two versions:
- Swappable Battery Version – Designed for Yangwang models
- Fast Charging Version – Available on BYD Dynasty, Ocean, Denza, and Fang Cheng Bao models, priced at 16,000 RMB（about $2,203）
During the event, BYD also launched the Fang Cheng Bao Bao 8 Drone Edition, the first model equipped with Lingyuan Fast Charging Version, with a price range of 395,800–423,800 RMB. All Bao 8 models now offer the option to install this intelligent drone system.
