BYD Announces Official Launch of Seal 05 DM-i on February 10, with Prices Starting at ¥89,800

BYD has announced that its Seal 05 DM-i will officially launch on February 10, following a pre-sale that began on January 7, with prices ranging from ¥89,800 to ¥109,800. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s filing, the Seal 05 DM-i will feature the same 1.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain as the Seal 06 DM-i. This powertrain includes a 1.5L engine with a maximum output of 74 kW and an electric motor capable of delivering a peak power of 120 kW.
