Baidu has discreetly introduced “Yuexia”, an AI-powered emotional companion app that focuses on highly flexible AI conversations and immersive script-based interactions. By creating a virtual character ecosystem, Baidu aims to carve out a new niche in the entertainment-driven social networking space.
Unlike Baidu’s previous AI social products, Yuexia is built on a four-core AI engine, integrating its self-developed Ernie Bot alongside three external large language models: DeepSeek, Doubao, and MiniMax Abab. This combination enhances natural interactions and creative role-playing, setting it apart from traditional AI chat platforms.
With this multi-model integration, Baidu is making a bold move into the AI-driven social landscape, offering users a more engaging and dynamic virtual companionship experience.
