The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai (CCPIT Shanghai) and the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) announced key details of the 2025 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai), which will take place in April. According to organizers, this year’s show will feature more than 100 world premiere vehicles.
Theme: “Embracing Innovation, Empowering the Future”
Auto Shanghai 2025 will be held under the theme “Embracing Innovation, Empowering the Future.” The event will run for 10 days, with media days scheduled for April 23–24, trade visitor days from April 25–26, and public days from April 27 through May 2. This marks the first time the exhibition will extend into China’s Labor Day holiday period, a move expected to boost automotive consumption and exhibition-related economic activity.
Nearly 1,000 Exhibitors from 26 Countries and Regions
The show will host nearly 1,000 well-known domestic and international companies from 26 countries and regions. Global automotive giants including Volkswagen, BMW, and Toyota will join the exhibition, while the number and scale of participating technology and supply chain companies have seen a significant increase compared to the previous edition.
The total exhibition area is expected to exceed 100,000 square meters, underscoring the importance of the event in the global automotive calendar.
Over 100 Press Conferences, Boosting Brand and Trade Opportunities
Organizers expect more than 100 press conferences to take place during the show, alongside a range of product debuts and technology showcases. By aligning the event with the national holiday, the show aims to enhance brand exposure, facilitate trade partnerships, and stimulate consumer enthusiasm in the automotive sector.
